Amrita Arora's father, Anil Arora, used to be with the Merchant Navy and her mother's name is Joyce. Her sister Malaika Arora Khan is a famous model.
Amrita started her career as a model and then appeared in a few music videos.
She has featured in ads for Ponds, Elle 18, After Smoke, Sunsilk among many others.
She is also well known for hosting the show MTV Housefull and MTV Chillout. Amrita Arora made her Bollywood debut in the flop film Kitne Door Kitne Paas opposite Fardeen Khan.
