Genelia’s parents are originally from Goa. Later they moved to Mumbai. She did her early schooling at the Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra Mumbai. Then she joined the St. Andrews College, Bandra Mumbai.
Genelia made her debut with the big budgeted film Boys directed by the well-known director Shankar where she was paired opposite Siddharth. The film was a superhit and it was also dubbed into Tamil.
Genelia will now be seen opposite Aamir’s nephew Imran Khan in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
