Rajeev Khandelwal was born in Delhi. He went to St Xaviers School and is proficient in Hindi, English and Urdu.Unlike other actors today, Rajeev Khandelwal did not come to Mumbai with dreams of making it big as an actor. On the contrary, he actually came here to write and direct documentary films.
Regardless his dreams were quickly put on hold as he started getting offers for TV serials one of which included his momentous role on Balaji's Kahin To Hoga, CID and Left Right Left.
Rajeev also did commercials for brands like Kodak, Greenlabel and Videocon. The actor literally ruled the small screen and a million hearts too during his tenure. His big screen break came with Aamir in 2008. The actor is now critically acclaimed and wishes to be more picky with the kind of roles he is seen doing in the future.
