Upen Patel's family migrated to the UK from Uganda 23 years ago. Upen graduated in Media Studies from West Herts College. Upen Patel is one of the hottest and highest paid male models in India.
At a very young age, he has become one of India’s most popular faces, having already taken part in international shows for top designers Hugo Boss, Paul Smith and Zegna.
In 2006, he made his Bollywood debut in the film 36 China Town, which was a moderate success at the box office.
His second film, Namastey London was released on 23 March 2007 and did well at the box office.
Shortly afterwards, his third film Shakalaka Boom Boom was released on 6 April 2007 but did not do as well at the box office as expected. His film One Two Three has also been a flop.
