Kalpana Lajmi threatens teenager

I had always held Kalpana Lajmi in high esteem. My 15-year-old son, a film buff like me, has also seen quite a few of her films. So recently when we spotted her at a bookstore in Mumbai, my son (and I) was quite excited. Borrowing my mobile phone camera, he walked up to her and asked her if she could pose for a photograph with him.
But far from getting a warm response, he was greeted with a yell asking him to lay off. Evidently confused, the fellow froze not knowing what to do. But she didn't stop at that. Looking straight at the mobile phone, she rattled off, "Go away before I trash that mobile phone of yours."
Needless to say my son was quite crestfallen and frankly I wasn't particularly pleased either. I tried to console him and took him away. I do hope I meet her soon. Because when I do, I would like to give her a piece of my mind.

No offense ma'am, but you did have the opportunity to give lajmi a piece of your mind in that bookstore. At least she was forthright with her refusal. Posting this on the net is kind of a sneaky revenge, don't you think? Eye for an eye puts you on the same pedestal.
