BOX OFFICE: Hits and misses
Trade anaylist Atul Mohan says, "In comparison to the last two years' collection the first quarter of 2008 has not been good enough for the industry. Except for Jodhaa Akbar and Race, most of the films turned out to be average grossers."
But things are improving in terms of marketing films in other countries. Atul further adds, "Now that Indian films are releasing in Pakistan, producers are expecting more money. Films that are expected to do well in the next quarter are Tashan, Bhoothnath, Love Story 2050, Gajini, Yuvraaj, Singh Is Kinng, Bachna Yeh Haseeno and so on."
