Rajesh Khanna was the famous star and Dimple Kapadia was a young debutant in the industry when their affair and marriage had the media buzzing in 1973. She was 15 years younger to Khanna and it gave the media something to talk about. [SEE: Kapoor and his glorious women ]

After the marriage, the actress Dimple got lost within the four walls of Khanna's Carter Road bungalow. She mothered his two daughters, Twinkle and Rinke Khanna. The marriage was never happy and it did not last long. After her divorce in 1984, Dimple Kapadia came back to movies and delivered many hits starting from Sagar to Dil Chahta Hai.

Her life was not bereft of love for too long either. The macho man Sunny Deol filled her life with joy as her lover and boyfriend. Following Daddy Dharmendra's example (He married Hema Malini even after having a wife) the young Deol however did not marry Dimple and they have remained lovers ever since. Rajesh Khanna found love too with the beautiful Tina Munim who later moved on to become Mrs Anil Ambani. Today Rajesh Khanna is happy with his politics and Dimple with her candle making.

Rajesh khanna - the greatest legend & real super star of indian cinema there are romantic leading men and there are romantic leading men, but very few have taken cinematic love to legendary heights. While there might be other icons but super-star- actor rajesh khanna after four decades, he is the ultimate true romantic legend.
