What’s the Saif-Bhansali connection?
After years of struggling with B-grade roles, Kal Ho Na Ho (KHNH) suddenly saw Saif Ali Khan change his image and firmly establish himself in the top league. Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste and Parineeta were all dividends, which Saif reaped after KHNH. Post KHNH, he also discovered his skills as compere and host. With a few witty lines from the scriptwriter and adequate backup from Shah Rukh Khan this duo put in their two-bit digs at Aamir, Hrithik and the others at award functions. But at the Filmfare awards Saif seemed to have lost it. SRK and Saif were dancing on stage in blue towels with blue war paint on their faces. The song sequence was a spoof of Saawariya.
One thing Bhansali is not known for is his sense of humour. Not only has Saif blown his chances of ever working with Bhansali, chances are Bhansali may not acknowledge Saif ever. And with Sanjay’s sister Bela Sehgal all set for her directorial debut Saif might pay a heavy price for his five minutes of tomfoolery on stage.
But who knows?? According to rumourmongers Bhansali 's market value is so low he may willingly work with Shah Rukh or Saif again.
