Apoorva Agnihotri was one of the central characters in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin and this role won him untold adulation. His brief celluloid romance was as Mahima Chowdhury’s wayward NRI fiancée in Subhash Ghai's film Pardes. But subsequently, he failed to charm moviegoers. Turning to television was the best thing for him. But, it took a Jassi… to make him a well-known name. Today, Apoorva is happily married to television actor Shilpa Saklani (her second marriage and his first), and still in demand, though very choosy.
