Vishal-Shekhar and their Tashan

The music director duo says the film's music will be a hit

With box-office favourites Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor sharing the same screen space, Tashan is this summer's big release. And unleashing the publicity for the music of this multi-starrer are music composers and directors, Vishal and Shekhar.

"It's got a folky, edgy flavour to it. Isme mitti ki khushboo bhi hai aur gunpowder ki khushboo bhi hai. (The music is traditional as well as modern at the same time.) And we have gone with the vibe of the film," say the musicians.

Vishal and Shekhar, to whose chart-topping tunes, Shah Rukh Khan danced to in Om Shanti Om last year say that though they love all the songs from their new album, they have one favourite.

"There is a song, Dil Dance Maare, which is going to be the number one song this year. It's a crazy song. It's based on Bhojpuri folk music and the lyrics are absolutely mad. I wrote this one," says Vishal.

So go out and grab a copy of the soundtrack of Tashan, because this one is sure to top the charts very soon.
