What's your take on fashion/ style? How important do you think one has to look good in this society?

It's a common misconception amongst people that I was an ugly-duckling that's why I was chose to do the role of Jassi. Let me tell you, I have always been fashion-conscious. I was ramp model before I ventured into television. In fact, even in school I was one the most fashionable kid around. Having said that I also believe that beauty is only skin-deep and you cannot judge a person by their looks, but then again the profession that I am in, it requires me to be presentable all the time. In media first impression is indeed the last impression.

When it comes to style who do you look up to?

I think Pooja Bedi and Rakshanda Khan both are very stylish and they both are beauty with brains.

Don't you think this makeover and fashion thing will send across an ugly message that you need to look good in order to be accepted and appreciated in the society?

As I said this is the show of extreme makeover. The people who have been selected are not normal people with normal problems like their noses being too big or their lips being too thin. These are the people are actually been outcasted or ridiculed because of their deformities. So no there is no dubious message in it. It's a noble cause with noble intentions.

Bollywood offers?

Well, I did get quite a few offers but rejected most of them. I’m currently looking into one script which I find it interesting but it’s too soon to talk about it.

Your beau Karan Oberoi has launched his own production house, will you be working with him?

Karan has offered me a cameo role in his serial Haadsa, but I don't know when I'll be doing it. But I sincerely hope his production house becomes successful.

What have you learnt from this show?

I have stopped cribbing and complaining about life. I am much a contended and more compassionate person now than I was before.
