'Film frat, media sabotaging my Tour'
The first leg of The Unforgettable Tour featuring the Bachchan family kicked off in Toronto over the weekend.
Abhishek Bachchan made a grand entry from among the audience amidst tight security while Bachchan senior relived some of his glorious days by performing to a remix of his hit numbers.
Meanwhile, Priety Zinta shook a leg to Pretty Woman leaving fans screaming for more and as for Akshay Kumar, he had more than just a performance in store.
The first leg of The Unforgettable Tour may have ended successfully but controversies surrounding the tour haven't.
Amitabh Bachchan has now claimed that his rivals in the film industry are trying to sabotage the tour. In a recent blog Bachchan writes, "I am shocked and covered in disbelief at being privy personally to a design by certain sections of the media and the fraternity to bring down this show. To kill it, to malign and write it off. This is shameful and disgusting..."
While the rumour mills point towards rivalry between the three Khans and the Bachchans, the Big B has chosen to be tight lipped about it for now.

Its new era!! So don;t
How come the comments and article are saying the tour flopped???!!! This must be a joke. Did these people see the show? And what else? Bachchan is a digital fake creation.. He does not exist.. Cause no way could he dance that good?? Keep the jokes coming..
here's my take: and yes.. I saw two of the unforgettable shows in the u.S.
toronto show: indeed it was not sold-out. Apparently aish/abhi liked the place (he proposed to her there) so they decided canada was big. There is not a big indian population in cananda.. So toronto was not filled- true. Big deal! Heard show was great-- fans loved it... Ovation, et. All. Quality, not quantity of the fans determine the show! Show a true success in any book for that reason.
entire us show: 6 places: sold out (i know the ny and nj ones were -cause i could not get extra tickets) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All standing ovations.. Smashing smashing smashing smashing hit!!! Ovations.. Encores .. Shouts, screams.. And near faints.. Many in dis-belief and total shock cause we were expecting the standard generic shows. Some started to cry at the end of the show and got emotional .. Some were in magical hysteria and partied till dawn after the show (shows ended at 1:30 am). I saw the ny and nj one-- and i can say it was the hit of hits.. To say the least. I feel like i took 6 vegas show-vacations and entered a bollywood fairy-land. The show is something we cannot forget!! Even the staffers were shocked and stunned in surprise and awe. Now i hear london was the same smashing ovation hit.
i think some people need to find some hole in this show to "feel better": ie. Canada ones not filled & vancouver was cancelled so it was a "flop"; non-indian origin people did not attend so it was a "flop", etc. Etc. Etc.
get real. I think many cannot face the fact that the show was a giant of the giant of the giant of hits; a hit which they could only dream of. A show like this will set new standards for live stage now-- and they may not want to fill those standards.
The tour flopped because of the three bachchans not because of media and film fraternity.
I have one very important piece of advice for mr bachchan? Is that it is high time he took the e.G of the legand yusuf bhai(dilip)and took a retirmement from films, cause frankly speaking there is a limit to bieng greedy for money in this world? And more so he at age 67 dancing with 25 year olds just doesnt look good at all even with a dozen face lifts and plastic surgerys
