First Look: Sanjay Dutt's new avatar
Sanjay Dutt has been in the news a lot lately and it never really had much to do with work. So, you may understand why it's so refreshing to see this actor back in the limelight...in positive spirits.
Dutt is all set to bask in the glory of his oh-so-spectacular image as a rock star in Woodstock Villa. Director Hansal Meha couldn't imagine shooting this song with anyone else but him.
The song, unlike other films, will not showcase Sanjay Dutt's 'item' number at the end of the movie as the credits get rolling. In fact, it is actually going to be an integral part of the entire plot. Some of the most crucial twists of the film are all set to unfurl during this song.
According to a source, Sanjay Dutt was so impressed with the song – Kyun – that he immediately agreed to do it. It has been shot at Pauna Lake near Kamshet Dam on the outskirts of Pune.
Sources also say that the actor was so comfortable and natural in his avatar that, of all the guitars laid out for him, he went for the Washburn Dime first. And with his flowing red coat and confident stride, Dutt completely suited the image of a rock star.
Kyun has been composed by Aryans and directed by Sanjay Gupta.
"Sanjay Gupta has shot the song and portrayed tremendous energy and style," opines Hansal Mehta. "In fact, Dutt and Gupta bonded very well throughout the shoot as they have similar tastes in music."
