Mission Istanbul ready to take off

Finally, project Mission Istanbul is ready to take off. The film ran into controversies when Sanjay Gupta rejected the script of Mission Istanbul. Reportedly, Sanjay thought it was a complete trash and didn't want to produce it.

Now, Apoorva Lakhia has decided to start the shooting on October 20 in Istanbul, Turkey. Suniel Shetty's Popcorn Entertainment and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji will be jointly producing the film based on Al Qaeda's terrorism network. Actors Zayed Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Suniel Shetty, Niketan Dheer, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Shreya Saran and Abhishek Bachchan have been roped in to make special appearances in the film.

Shabbir Boxwala of Popcorn Entertainment speaks on his behalf, "The shooting of the film will start from October 20. It's a 60-day schedule. We plan to wrap up by February next year. Mission Istanbul is a tale of an ordinary person who gets stuck in some extraordinary circumstances. We will be shooting in Istanbul, Mumbai, Jaisalmer and Antalia. We hope to release the film by summer next year."
