Even as Partner moves towards a box office success story, one person is not particularly celebrating. Rajpal Yadav, who plays Chhota Don in the film, is unhappy about his character doing the disappearing act in the second half. But Yadav sounds a little defensive. It's not my version, but what the audience has been talking about. Though I play an important part in teh film, my role was chopped off comletely in the second bit. Maybe it was done to improve the film," shrugs the actor. Yadav points out that his roles in earlier David Dhawan films such as Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya and Shaadi No 1 were not truncated. Of the 20 odd films in his kitty at the moment, Yadav says he plays the solo lead oin at least seven of them. Maybe there's justice in this world after all. .
