In what could be record breaking deal in Bollywood, Rakesh Roshan has sold the rights of his next film Kites for Rs 120 crore, reports Mid-Day.

The film starring Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut and US-based model Barbara Mori has been sold to Eros International.

"Rakesh Roshan is ecstatic," says a source. "He has managed to sell Kites even before it hits the floors. The price has been pushed up because Hrithik has no other film lined up for release until Kites releases next year. Roshan Sr has received a token signing amount of Rs 10 crore."

Although Rakesh Roshan denies any such news, the source claims that the filmmaker and Eros want to keep things hushed up at this stage.
