Rushdie woos Riya Sen

There are some men like Kabir Bedi, Kamal Haasan who are simply unstoppable. Every time one of their relationships ends it’s a matter of months before they find them selves firmly entrenched in a new one. And the literary giant Salman Rushdie also falls into the same category.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the latest interest in Rushdie’s life is none other than Riya Sen. Rushdie has apparently invited Riya Sen to join him and spend some time with him. It is believed that Riya and Rushdie spent a lot of time togther when Rushdie visisted Mumbai in January this year.

Sources say that they were also seen together at the nightclub Aurus located in Juhu. Sine then they are in regular touch via the phone-or the e-mail. And the contact isn’t sporadic; they telephone or email each other practically on a daily basis.

Most of Riya’s friends are talking about the relationship but according to the Mumbai Mirror, Riya herself said, "Yes, I have been invited. Rushdie and I are in regular touch."

Rushdie has been involved with many women. He was married to the literary agent Clarissa Luard, and then he was living in with the writer Robyn Davidson. After that he married the writer Marianne Wiggins and then later divorced her and went on to marry Padma Lakshmi.
