Salman back to Jodhpur?

The actor will fly back to the city where he was convicted

Salman is a true friend – haven't we heard that a zillion times? Well here's another true friendship story for the list. The actor will be flying to Jodhpur on April 19 to attend his friend's daughter's wedding.

Sishupal Singh, the man whose daughter's wedding is the reason for Salman's visit, is a resident of Jodhpur. He was the one who helped Khan and his family during the rough days of the Chinkara poaching case.

Salman will be present for the wedding with father Salim Khan, brother Sohail and sister Alvira. The reception is to be held at the Taj Palace, Jodhpur.

Ajay Desai, the event manager for Seagram's said, "Salman is known in the film industry for his friendship. When he makes a friend, he tries his best to stay committed. Sishupal helped the Khan family through bad times. He had helped them a lot in Jodhpur. Salman will not be there for the wedding but Salim Khan is there. Sallu will be joining him for the reception though."
