Salman Khan demands 50 crore
...for Ramesh Taurani's Amar Akbar Anthony remake
Producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips has been aspiring to remake yesteryear's hit Amar Akbar Anthony for quite some time now. He also has the Khan Brothers – Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz in mind to play the characters. But as reported By HT Cafe, Salman has agreed to allot dates for the film but for an exorbitant price of Rs 50 crore!
Denying this, Taurani says, "You know in the media anyone can circulate any price. This has become a practice."
Well, whatever the price demanded, Taurani's project is on and will start early in 2009. And it will definitely feature the trio.
