From the plain girl next door in Dus Kahaniyaan to a sexy diva in Woodstock Villa, Neha Uberoi has come a long way. And in this brief period she has spent in Bollywood, there are enough rumours and speculations doing the rounds about this pretty little girl.

So why was her voice not used in the film? Was it due to the fallout between her father and uncle Sanjay Gupta? Or was it because her voice didn't fit the bill? (We thought her voice was fine though). We tried to find all out in a brief chat with the young and sexy actress.

What went so wrong with your voice that it couldn't be used for Woodstock Villa?

The makers wanted their film to be completed immediately all of a sudden and I was busy shooting for EMI. So they had to get my portion dubbed by somebody else. It was a mutual decision. And there's no hard feelings.

Dus Kahaaniyaan or Woodstock Villa?

Obviously Woodstock Villa. It is my debut film. Though Dus Kahaniyaan released earlier, my first shot was for this film and it's closer to my heart.

Your father is a production controller and Sanjay Gupta is your uncle. Was getting a break in movies easy enough for you?

It was a little easier of course to get a break. But nobody would have cast me just like that. Down south I have done a few films and also won an award for the best supporting actress. There I had nobody to back me.

From plain girl next door to sexy diva. Who do you think the credit goes to?

Obviously to Mr Hansal Mehta and Sanjay Gupta
