Simi Garewal loves to paint

But the actress admits her friends don't appreciate it

Actress and talk show host Simi Garewal recently attended an art exhibition by veteran artist Sudhir Katkar. An exhibition of portraits clearly left Simi nostalgic about her days as an actress in the film industry.

The former actress was impressed by the artist's vision but more importantly, she says, she felt a connection with his work because of one factor she found they had in common.

"I got to know that he started his work with film hoardings of Mera Naam Joker," says Simi.

"Making hoardings gave me some practice. It was an added advantage making big portraits of actors then," says Sudhir.

Meanwhile Simi confesses that she loves to paint. "I should have taken it up. I do sketches, but my friends don't appreciate it," adds Simi.
