There are good chances that you would have forgotten him had it not been for Jodhaa Akbar. Sonu Sood may have been written off as just another upcoming actor after debut in Ashiq Banaya Apne. But his role as Sujaamal in Jodhaa Akbar, has made audiences and critics sit up and notice him.

Right now Sonu is in Hyderabad to attend the premiere of the film and is quite evidently excited about it. Speaking over the phone he gushes: "Oh everyone will be there, even Aishwarya. It is a Telugu and Tamil launch. So everyone is very excited!"

"Jodhaa Akbar a grand film. Many people in the interiors of Andhra Pradesh have not seen anything so grand. So it will be great for them to watch it in their own language," he says adding, "Language has never been barrier for good movies. People have been watching Jodhaa… for its sheer brilliance."

Speaking about the lifting of the ban, he says: "Truth finally wins. Jodhaa Akbar was made with good intentions and today in spite of all oppositions it is doing so well."
