Vivek Oberoi backs out of Rajniti

The actor has stated that he does not have the desired dates

Vivek Oberoi has always been known for his performances in movies that boast powerful characters. Be it Company or Shootout At Lokhandwala, the actor has always won critical acclaim for his roles.

Recently, the actor was linked with yet another movie that promised (just by taking a look at its star cast) to be another such movie. The media was buzzing with the news that the actor had signed Prakash Jha's Rajniti along with Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai.

Unfortunately, in a statement sent out by his publicist, it has been stated that although Vivek was keen on doing Rajniti, he had to back out of it as his dates were taken up by a Karan Johar production starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

The actor, who was really looking forward to working with Prakash Jha is extremely upset. Regardless he is eagerly awaiting the release of the Shetty, Zayed Khan and Shriya Saran starrer Mission Istanbul.
