Aerosmith ready to rock Bangalore
All those who listened to Dream On to get inspired, or quoted I don't wanna miss a thing on a valentines day card will get a chance to take a closer look at the legends Aerosmith as they come performing in Bangalore on June 2.
Aerosmith, the greatest American rock band of all time with more than 100 million albums sold, has a diehard fan base numbering in the millions. The Rock 'n' Roll legends will perform at the Palace Grounds as part of their ''Greatest Hits 2007 World Tour''. The concert is part of Aerosmith's first World Tour in nearly a decade.
In their first ever concert in India, the group would be in non-stop action for the two-hour-long concert, a release said. The tickets have been priced at Rs 1,800 and Rs 1,200 with fans having multiple options to purchase tickets.
The band members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer would perform some of the best compositions from the band's 33 year history, including Looks Like a Lady, Livin' on the edge, Walk this Way, Sweet Emotion, Falling in Love, I Don't want to miss a thing, Crazy, Angel, Dream On and Janie got a gun.
Founded in 1973, Aerosmith had been performing as the original line up for the past 34 years. The group's musical evolution over the years had made them major innovators in American hard rock, pop, glam, blues and rap.
The India concert is part of Aerosmith's 2007 World Tour. Kicked off on April 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Apart from India, the band would also perform in United Arab Emirates for the first time ever.
