David's past haunts the Beckhams
Victoria Beckham is fuming over the fact that her husband David Beckham's alleged former mistress
is moving to Los Angeles. Rebecca Loos - who claimed to have had an affair the soccer superstar in
2004 - is planning relocate to pursue her acting career. Ironically David recently joined the Los Angeles Galaxy team.
A mum-of-three Victoria is said to be furious at the news and thinks Rebecca's move will damage her marriage. A source close to the Spice Girl told Britain's Star magazine, "Rebecca's going to Los Angeles is Victoria's worst nightmare. One of the reasons the Beckhams moved there is that David felt he owed this to Victoria after the whole Rebecca scandal. The fact that his past is coming back to haunt them will devastate Victoria".
She added, "It's like picking at a wound that was just starting to heal. But now all those old insecurities will be stirred up in Victoria and this will take its toll on her. She will definitely cry over it."
Victoria, 33, is also allegedly startled by Rebecca 's plans to become an actress, because she thinks it will her affect her own acting career, set to launch with a guest appearance on Ugly Betty later this
year.
The source said: "Rebecca has been meeting some of Hollywood's top casting directors. She has always wanted to be an actress and she believes this is her big chance. "Hollywood is a very small place and it's likely they will be vying for the same roles. It will be so awkward if they bump into each other at castings."
It isn't only Victoria who is unhappy with the move, David is also said to be furious that his old personal assistant might be paying a visit. Rebecca, who caused a scandal when she stimulated a pig on British reality show The Farm, recently insisted she wouldn't go out of her way to avoid the couple when she gets to the US.
She said, "If I saw them in Los Angeles. I wouldn't avoid them. I don't know what I would say, but I'm sure Victoria would talk to me. "There are plenty of gorgeous girls in Los Angeles. I don't know if David is going to be a good boy."
