The Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell is dating dancer Ivan 'Felipz' Velez, who worked with the band during their tour.

Velez got close to Halliwell while teaching the girls their on-stage dance routines, thesun.co.uk reports.

A friend revealed, "Geri and Ivan met on the tour and were working very closely together. Towards the end, it began to heat up and turn into something more. She found she missed him after the tour ended in February, so she flew out to Los Angeles to be with him.

"He's great with her daughter Bluebell. She was with Geri on tour so he is already familiar to her. And he's very popular in the Spice Girls camp. It was Felipz who was teaching the Beckham kids all their break-dancing skills. It's early days but they're having a lot of fun."
