Is Robbie jealous of Kylie?
While Australian pop star Kylie Minogue is trying to crack the US market, but British singer Robbie Williams is trying hard to dissuade her from doing so.
Minogue is making a concerted effort to break into the US by appearing on numerous TV shows and making some hit songs. Williams, who failed to make it in the US, is advising her to keep a low profile.
"Minogue has spoken about it with Williams. He told her he loves being largely unknown when he's at home in the States, while cash rolls in from the rest of the world. Williams thinks she should keep the US as a place she can go to escape the spotlight. But Minogue doesn't agree and has decided on one final push," a source said.
Minogue has scored hits all over the world, but spoke of her strategy, saying: "It's a notoriously difficult market. To know where I fit within that market is very difficult".
