The singer's PA dismisses any heart attack rumours

Ghazal king Jagjit Singh was admitted to Bombay Hospital today and has been kept under observation. But as reported in various TV channels, he has not suffered a heart attack or stroke. Apparently, Jagjit had gone to the hospital for a routine check up, when he was admitted for high blood pressure.

When contacted, his personal assistant Kuldeep laughed, saying, "These media people, they just break the news without asking us. It was not an attack but Jagjitji had just gone to Bombay Hospital for a routine check up and the doctor put him under a day's observation. Tomorrow, he will go home."

Jagjit Singh was recently in the news for his Gujarati ghazal album, Jeevan Maran Chhe Ek and also his spiritual album Karuna.
