Juhi turns singer for Bhoothnath
Juhi Chawla may be doing only cameos but she is getting her share of headlines. The actress is now sharing screen space with her friend Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in Bhoothnath. The movie will be different for Juhi in many ways.
"Many people, many actresses can say they have worked with Amitji, but few can say they have sung a song with Amitji. I think that's very special so I can always live to say that," she said. Juhi has been eschewing bigger roles in films but she says she looks at certain aspects before signing on.
"I have reached a stage where I don't need to prove to anyone, really. I do something that I like so if it's a film - whether I like the script, or if I have a minuscule role – if I feel like I want to work with this production, this director, this new team, I work with them," she explained.
When asked about IPL, the bubbly actress retorted, "You are asking me which team should win? What do you suppose I will say? Obviously I would want Knight Riders to win! That's my greatest wish and I pray that it comes true," even as she paid her dues to other teams.
"There are other teams which are good – like Hyderabad – but let's hope that Knight Riders shine," she said.
