Pop diva Mariah Carey has more than one reason to celebrate. Her latest single Touch My Body from the album E=MC2 is her 18th number one single to hit the Billboard Music charts, even surpassing Elvis Presley's record.

"I make music and love what I do. Of course I celebrate when I hear my new song on the radio for the first time. That's what excites me," says Mariah.

The singer, who is also known for her five-octave voice, is the winner of five Grammy awards, and has been voted as the 100 most influential people by Time magazine.

Mariah says her dreams of making it big started young. "I saw things on TV and the idea of glamour was great. I would say that's what I want when I grow up."

The singer has found her formula for success through what she does best – hitting a high note and taking on life and music with an attitude and a ready smile.
