Mc Lean Goes Solo
The singer is taking a break from Backstreet Boys to start up by himself
Backstreet Boys' singer AJ McLean is taking a break from the boy band and is set to do a series of solo shows. Contactmusic.com reported that McLean has released just a few tickets for the concerts. His manager Eric Podwall released a statement saying: "After 13 years with the Backstreet Boys, and 75 million records sold worldwide, McLean's excited to take a step out on his own and present his music, in his style."
McLean is also planning to do shows in Europe to showcase a solo album he is hoping to release later in the year. He is not planning to leave the band for good and is set to record another album with them next year.
