OSO composers launch music label
Music composers Vishal and Shekhar launched their own music label in Mumbai on Tuesday night with a keen eye to promote fresh talent, and actor Sanjay Dutt was present to support the duo at the event.
Vishal and Shekhar made the right moves on stage and Sanjay Dutt had his rockers-vocabulary in place as he said, "I love listening to rock, and my favourites are Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Metallica."
However the real rockstar of the event was the folk and rock musician from Bangalore — Raghu Dixit who spell-bounded the audience with his soulful music.
It was Raghu Dixit's night all the way with his debut music album launch, which also marked the launch of Vishal and Shekhar's own music label — VS Music.
Shekhar was all praises for the musician as he said, "One day Raghu came to the studio, and we thought he was awesome and decided we have to get his album out. His voice is so powerful, in fact he's the reason we've launched our own label." [WATCH: Vishal-Shekhar's Ajabi si from OSO]
"He's composed all the songs in the album. He's the singer, performer, producer, and an excellent guitar player," adds Shekhar.
The compliments didn't however end there as Vishal said, "His lyrics are magical. His song writing, the structures, the melodies — all of it combines to make something that one cant describe."
With such music A-listers completely smitten by Raghu's talent, there's bound to be something special about his album.
