Virgin Records has released Pandit Jasraj's devotional music CD for daily prayers, titled Shiv Upasana. Kedar Pandit has composed the music.

Upasana means submitting to ones favoured Lord and seeking to imbibe His ideal attributes in order to achieve a rich spiritual life. Shiv Upasana presents a comprehensive set of powerful daily prayers to achieve this oneness with the Almighty.

The album contains seven compositions in the form of shlokas, mantras or bhajans. Pt Jasraj renders five of these, while a chorus renders the other two.

Jasraj has sung the Dhyaan Shlok, Shiv Gayatri Mantra, Jaap, Stuti Bhajan, and the Maha Mrutunjay Mantra (Kavach). The other Kavach, Rudrapath has been sung by Brahamvrinda.

A chorus renders the Ashtottarshat Naamavalee (108 names of Lord Shiva) as well as the two aartis, Jai Shankar Shivshankar and Jai Shiv Omkara.
