T-series continues fight against privacy
At T-series they believe in fighting piracy by offering the customer value for money. Now the company will be offering nine films across the various genres such as romance, comedy and thrillers for Rs 275/- only. Most of these films were blockbuster hits when they were released such as Salaam-E-Ishq, Don, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Jaaneman, Shootout At Lokhandwala, Sarkar, Deewar, Chalte Chalte, Zinda, Baabul, Tere Naam, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, The Train, Bhagam Bhag, Kati Patang, Nehle Pe Dehla, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd and many more.
And as a special bonus each pack will also contain five complimentary Audio CDs inside the box.
Commenting on this latest initiative, Bhushan Kumar, CMD, T-Series says, "At T-Series we believe in providing the best of entertainment through ethical means. Movie Carnival is a complete family pack as there is something for everyone in it. Also, the nominal price of the sets will be a step further in our efforts to curb piracy".
Piracy is a strong threat faced by the entertainment industry and the losses run into millions every year. Last year T-Series filed a case against YouTube.com and its parent company Google Inc. for infringement of their copyright. T-series was also successful in obtaining an interim restraint against YouTube and Google.
This year the company filed a case against Yahoo Inc. and its Indian subsidiary Yahoo Web Services (India) Pvt. Ltd for infringement of their copyright caused by unlicensed streaming of SCIL's copyright works on Yahoo's portal 'www.video.yahoo.com'.
Both the cases are coming up for hearing in September this year.

Piracy is an evil that should be done away with
