The concept of men dressing as women and vice versa has always worked in Hindi cinema. Let's face it.... the audience absolutely adores this role reversal and has always applauded when the likes of SRK and Aamir adorned women's clothing in films in the past.

So the whistling and laughter came as no surprise during the last shoot of Comedy Circus when our comedians appeared on stage dressed as the opposite sex.

Some of the interesting get-ups included contestant Shruti dressing up as rival Shakeel and sporting a thick moustache. Shakeel on the other hand came wearing a burkha... safe move if you ask us, considering he wouldn't have to shave. But best of all was Rajiv Thakur who came dressed as an IPL cheerleader.

Aakashdeep came dressed as Archana Puran Singh but unfortunately overdid his part, thus failing to get any laughs from the audience.

The contestants had judges Satish Shah, Archana Puran Singh and Shekhar Suman in splits with their bold acts especially with their role play and bickering in between shots. Guest judges for this show was the cast of Woodstock Villa and considering Sikander Kher is somewhat serious in his demeanour most of the time it was quite refreshing to watch him display some emotion when the contestants performed on stage.

The role reversal episode is all set to air on Sony Saturday May 17 at 9 pm IST.
