Boxy Boyz official cricket team

A multi-starrer sports outfit called Boxy Boyz, founded by Dilip Agarwal, Salil Ankola, Shabbir Ahluwalia and Vikas Sethi and being managed by Agarwal's company, PEP Management Pvt Ltd, officially announced their cricket team and unveiled their brand logo at a star-studded event in Mumbai.

The party saw TV celebrities such as Salil Ankola, Vikas Sethi, Aamir Ali, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Vikas Kalantri, Bakthiyaar Irani and Tanaaz, Amit Behl, Shawar Ali, Anuj Saxena, Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht, Manav Gohil and Siddharth Kannan who introduced the team. All came at sharp 9 pm now that they are dedicated sportsmen!

Boxy Boyz is primarily made up of all television actors, with a few models also a part of it. The aim of Boxy Boyz is to provide the actor fraternity an opportunity to play their favourite sport, which they were good at before they entered into the TV industry. Due to heavy workload and less free time, these actors are not able to pursue their favourite sport. Through Boxy Boyz, they’re doing so.

Boxy Boyz is initially concentrating on team games and will move towards individual sport very soon, including female participation.

Boxy Boyz is playing around 30 cricket matches between October 2007 to May 2008, and a few charity games as well. The group has also been invited to the forthcoming Gold Awards to be held in Mauritius in September.

Well, we hope this outfit helps the TV industry develop some sporting spirit!
