CAUGHT: Mandira Bedi digging her nose
Nick viewers will just have to watch out for simple questions that pop up on their screen in between shows and call a number or SMS the correct answer to participate. By the end of it four winners will be picked randomly and given the opportunity to star on Nick.
So that's good news right? No long audition lines, no judges and no audience polls. Of course, by the end of it parents might just be a little unhappy with their land line and cell phone bills. But whether this mode is better or worse than gruelling auditions, it is only for parents to decide.
"To us all kids are equal," says Nina Elavia Jaipura, vice president and general manager of Nick India. "Nick believes in giving children what they want and every step in this direction has been designed keeping these needs in mind."
Mandira being a popular personality was an instant choice for the channel as she too allegedly has quite a wild side to her. Don't believe us? Well you could check out the video where she is seen digging her nose gleefully while at the event she was merrily sporting a bright yellow Spongebob Squarepants T-shirt. "I'm glad I have this opportunity to be a kid again and boogie with four fundoo kids on some groovy steps along with some fun toons," says Mandira who will be seen dancing with Spongebob Squarepants and Ninja Hattori.
