Mini opts out of Indian Idol 4

The actress and husband Kabir Khan are expecting their second baby

One of the Indian counterparts of American Idol's Ryan Seacrest, Mini Mathur will not be hosting Indian Idol 4 which is slated to go on air soon.

No, the actress-turned-anchor has not had a falling out with the producers. In fact, her absence has bought a lot of joy if nothing else as the actress is expecting an addition her her family. Yes, she's pregnant and is absolutely glowing these days. Unfortunately it is currently rumoured that her husband Kabir Khan, who had directed Yash Raj's Kabul Express will not be present in the country at the time of birth.

Confirming the news to Mumbai Mirror the actress said, "Yes. Kabir and I are expecting our second child."

Having hosted all the Indian Idols so far the actress adds, "I would have loved to be a part of Indian Idol 4. Being a part of Indian Idol has been a great experience. Hopefully, I'll be back on the show's next season."

So who will be stepping into the magnificent Mini's shoes this time round? Well, we're sure to find out soon enough.
