A sessions in Indore issued notices to actress and TV anchor Mandira Bedi and her designer Puneet Nanda in connection with the saree controversy on Wednesday. Bedi had sparked off a furore for wearing a saree that had flags of all 16 countries that participated in the recently concluded World Cup 2007. The Indian flag appeared in the folds of her saree near her feet. Puneet Nanda had to apologise.
