Rucha Gujarati is back on Bhabhi
We constantly see actors being replaced on our favourite television shows but here's a replacement with a twist! Kanchi Kaul who replaced Rucha Gujrathi in Bhabi has been thrown out. What’s more is that Rucha has been brought back to play the lead.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Rucha has confirmed this piece of information. She says, "I have already started shooting and will be on air very soon."
Post the generation leap, the lead role of Bhabhi was played by Rucha. But when the makers announced another leap of five years, Rucha quit as she was uncomfortable playing the role of a mother. Allegedly another reason at the time that caused Rucha to become even more uncomfortable was Sanjivani famed actor Gurdip Kohli who was roped in to plat the parallel lead.
"I had some terms and conditions which were not met with so I had to opt out." Rucha adds. "Now everything is fine. The upcoming track is very interesting."
Rucha's return is accredited to the drooping TRPs. With the return of the original Bhabi, producers are optimistic of restoring their original popularity.
