Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy in an epic?

The trio will be featuring in the soundtrack of Jai Maa Vaishno Devi on 9X

After NDTV Imagine's Ramayan, 9X is next in line to air a devotional show based on one of the most revered Goddesses - Mata Vaishno Devi.

The series titled Jai Maa Vaishno Devi has been produced by Dheeraj Kumar's Creative Eye Productions and will be starting on April 28.

According to Indrani Mukerjea, Founder and CEO of INX Media, "Jai Maa Vaishno Devi is a story about the divine as well as the devotees, thus making the show a fusion of devotional narration and family drama. We are confident that Jai Maa Vaishno Devi will touch millions of hearts across the nation."

The cast includes Rupa Dutta in the role of Maa Vaishnodevi and Pracheen Chauhan as Shridhar Pandit, her devotee. The series will be directed by Anwar Khan. The soundtrack of the show, which is due to release shortly, will feature Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. The music will be composed by Ravindra Jain.
