Smriti Irani adopts 13 kids

Now, people in the industry should draw inspiration from TV's darling bahu Tulsi Virani aka Smriti Irani of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The actress-producer has adopted 13 poor kids. Smriti will be shouldering all the expenses of their education till they grow up and start earning for themselves.

This announcement was at Basera foundation, at a function organised by president of Federation of Western India Cine Employes Dharmesh Tiwari and his wife Roma.

Dharmesh Tiwari, the founder of Basera, says, "Smriti Irani has been very generous. We are proud of her. She has adopted 13 kids whose parents work in the film industry. But since they are so poor they cannot afford to send their children to school. Our organisation Basera is already funding the poor workers’ with food and education expenses. This will be a bonus."
