Sudhir Mishra recreates Bollywood of the 50s

Sudhir Mishra's Khoya Khoya Chand is a love story set in Bollywood of the '50s. It begins as a love story involving an aspiring actress Nikhat (Soha Ali Khan) and a writer Zafar (Shiney Ahuja). Nikhat goes from being a starlet to a top heroine while Zafar’s struggle symbolises the state of writers in our industry. Soon the lovers get caught in a power struggle involving studio bosses, cunning financiers and egoistic stars. The choices they make forms the plot of this film.
Apart from Shiney and Soha, Khoya... also stars Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Vinay Pathak and Sonya Jahan.The Swanand Kirkire-Shantanu Moitra (Lage Raho Munnabhai, Parineeta, Eklavya, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi) duo takes care of the soundtrack.
