Arindam Nandy's debut feature film, Via Darjeeling, revolves around a newly wed couple, Ankur and Rimli ,who are on their honeymoon in Darjeeling and Kalimpong. But all hell breaks loose when on the day of their return to Calcutta, Ankur disappears from the hotel. Inspector Robin Dutt investigates the case with no results.Years later, Dutt narrates this story at an adda. The Calcutta custom of friends gathering informally to exchange views and gossip over drinks and dinner. An analysis of this incident follows, suggesting that something connected is in the air. The participants have their subjective conclusions. New relationships emerge as faces are unmasked.
