REVIEW: Jimmy is funny
The much awaited star son debut film - Jimmy is finally out. Mithunda's son has finally made his much awaited entry into Bollywood. And the first movie can definitely work as his show reel.
Dancer Mimoh, lover Mimoh, good son Mimoh, sad Mimoh, wronged Mimoh, vengeful Mimoh, crying Mimoh, aerodynamic Mimoh, air borne Mimoh, fighting Mimoh and all the other kinds of Mimoh possible have been showcased in Jimmy. It's two hours of sheer M-I-M-O-H.
And well, why would people go for this movie at all, if not for Mithunda's Mimoh? To be fair to the little boy who still needs to lose his baby fat, he is not all that bad. Mimoh has tried his best in every scene and every single dance move to do his best. He tries his best to cry, deliver dialogues, appear romantic, get angry and more... but his voice fails him miserably. He sounds like a young boy who has just hit puberty and his voice is the first thing to revolt.
Jimmy - the movie
So what does Jimmy have as a film? It has all the 70s clichés you can possibly think of – murder, courtroom scene, beta asking for mother's aashirwad, hate culminating in love, exemplary friendship, betrayal in friendship, running through the jungle, hero behind bars, (Whew) hero dying, hero trying to pay off father's debts, hero falling terminally ill and more. The movie definitely could have been a cult film had it released a few decades earlier.
Do you really want to know the story now? Jimmy starts with the very well known long shot moving to mid shot moving to close up of a police station and telephone which is ringing. Rahul Dev, the ACP picks up the phone and says 'Hello'…
Next: Mimoh dies before interval

The movie could be trash, but the review is excellent. Bollywood unfailingly gives crap movies (99%) and reviews are hardly better by the star reviewers. A sensible review after a long time.
Lump of lard! Okay so at times the comments are but too harsh but the review is damn funny, perhaps more entertaining than the film, and dud vishal, do we really care about the suspense of such films? And even if we do know, would this really help you make up your mind about watching the film?
however, wish the reviewer went a little easy on that boy....
Lol...The review is funny..I guess the movie is a bit like aap ka suroorrrr...Or was it suroooorr ...I dunno) where one cud just keep laughing at himesh reshammiya's dialogue delivery and attempts to jingle...Well atleast mimoh can dance
