Music Review: Dasavathaaram
Sadhana Sargam is easily the pick of this lot with Mukunda Mukunda having that iota of feeling, which seems to surprisingly missing from the other tracks. The Lagaan / Swadesesque undertone seems to linger somewhere in the back of the head and the bhajan or bhajanai, does have its moments.
Shalini Singh tries hard to lift spirits with a typical Himesh offering. Beats...oomph...Jhalak et al. Lots of non-Tamizh, mostly meaningless English words peppered in for good measure like badly made scrambled egg.
Surprisingly, the lyrics are attributed to Vairamuthu. The album pans out like a badly penned Rushdie tome, too many sub-plots, nods and dedications and too less time to relish even one of them.
Himesh's nasal legacy stays untouched and unmatched with Oh Ho Sanam. One nose, any language is the message and it’s loud and clear to all and ear. Easily, the best song of the album. He croons...he moons…he swoons.… And ends up with quite a winner in the end.
Our …Surroor boy definitely ‘nose’ how to cap it. Devoid of freshness or originality, hackneyed to the point to being trite. Dasavathaaram is a long wait spoilt. Oscar Ravichandran's multi-headed musical offering is definitely no Hundi tickler or Grammy winner... Pack it... Rack it and they say...Sarojaa samaan nikalo!

I disagree with the review, look at the range of style the album offers, from ulaganayagane to oh oh sanam to kallai mattum and mukunda mukunda but of course frog can criticise a nightingale right?
Nice review, made me actually laugh out loud. Lol
Why the indian superstar rajnikant not in audio release?
