I had finished almost 80 per cent of shooting Right Yaaa Wrong. And that's when I realised that I needed to shoot one more scene with Sunny and Irrfan, wherein I could establish their relationship and bond with each other in the film. And more so as I did not have their combined dates together!

I did not have much time on hand, so I decided to pen down the scene. A thought crossed my mind on the powerful performances by actors like Dharamjiand Amitjji. They've delivered their best performance of acting like a drunkard in yesteryear films, if you remember the 'Suicide, Suicide' scene from Sholay and Amitji's scene from Sharabi and Satte Pe Satta.

I was sitting with my writers Girish Dhamija and Sanjay Chouhan but somehow we could not get to write the scene right. I almost wrote four to five drafts but it was just not happening. We also cancelled the shoot twice.

So, one fine moment I just decided that we shall simply roll the camera, as it was the last day of their combined dates. I had prepared myself to shoot and I was ready with whatever it took to finish the shoot that day itself. I just put a wide shot and briefed both my actors that they needed to act like drunkards.

In that scene, Sunny's character wants Irrfan’s character to get married, and surprisingly we had no script in hand, but both knew what they were supposed to do! We started filming the scene casually.

Although Irrfan drinks, Sunny has never tasted alcohol. But the way Sunny performed was as if he's a regular drinker! So, I joked that it must have come from his genes since his father was great in those scenes. Sunny replied saying that he has never drunk alcohol but has observed how people behave after drinking. He just went with the flow and after the scene got over everybody including Irrfan, the whole unit and me clapped on his performance.
