Diary

Day: 9

Date: 24/03/08

When I saw Sunny and Irrfan performing for a scene together, I could feel the impact they would create on screen, I would like to narrate an incident, which took place on the sets of Right Yaaa Wrong. Sunny and Irrfan play good friends in the film and the plot deals with a conflict between them, Irrfan being a serious and aggressive actor wanted to give his best. He did not want Sunny to overshadow him. I saw Irrfan getting in to the skin of the character discussing and preparing to give his best. On the other hand Sunny was calm and composed. I thought Irrfan might give a brilliant performance. It's a human tendency that one starts comparing the two actors when both are equally good.

It was time for a 'take' and guess what, it turned out to be an excellent shot. One thing I'd like to share about Sunny… the actor gets into the character from the very first day and follows it up till the end. He does not prepare for his scenes everyday. He lives the character.

That particular scene is the most significant part of the film, as it is the turning point of the film and somewhere deep down, I realised Irrfan was feeling insecure. But he gave his best shot and everyone present on the sets was moved.

Don't be rude or interrupt others who are having a conversation. Ethnic slurs, personal insults and abuses are rather uncool. Criticise, but know where to draw the line. No point putting in personal details or links, we won't publish them. Try and write in English and please, stick to the point!
