Hello friends well i think ram is aboslutely right i mean its true that because of salmans recommendation katrina got chance in movies and becoz otherwise nobody would know whose katrina i mean come on guys katrina should admit this on media i mean why so much ego to hide it and ya only talent she might have is to keep salman on wait of her reply and she is nicely flirting with akshay kumar whose in turn taking advantage of her and poor salman who has worked so much hard to launch katrina in induatry is getting betrayed by this selfish lady.

i know for a fact that this industry works on recommendation. I would not like to take any name, but would like to mention a story. I have completed my acting course from ftii and i have been a successful model in delhi. I too have biceps and six packs, proper cuts and decent enuf look. A director (who has launched many new face) called me for an audition and he wanted to launch me in his film with another established hero. Everything was final, then the hero saw me and realized that i had better physique and he requested the director to replace me. I was thrown out of the project overnite and the actors's boyfriend (yes.. He is gay) replaced me in the film. What do you call this? Ram is a well knwn writer and he knws much better than anyone else. I thought of sharing this incident so that ppl should knw whats happening. But i still have hope, as genuinie ppl are also there. Cheers.

ur not in this entertainment industry and a perfect example how much impact the star image has on a common person .... I am an assistant director in the film industry ... I wudnt reveal the big stuff i have worked on ... But this fact that ram kamal has revealed in his blog is absolutely 100% genuine truth ... Salman khan is the one who got her break and who is rollin this model's career ... Have u any idea about how good looking and smart gals struggle every single day in this industry and they are unable to get a break ....

i take auditions and go thru some showreels of actors/actresses every now and then .... And trust me on this one ... There is much better talent around ... Gals who can overshadow beauty n persona of katrina and the finest of our indian actresses in jst one shot on screen .... But we know what happens when the directors tells us .... The producer has asked to select this chick ... That doesnt happen when katrina gives a producer a call n he obliges her by doin this ... This happens when there is a powerful hand above the producer who has enough power to control his decision ...

how we percieve as cinema is pretty different than how it is ... Quite often we see some films and say .. Wat a sucked up movie ... Masala n all .... Bt the producers who make such movies .... They jst do it for the heck of it ... Their level of thought process is restricted to that ... To get into the glamour ... Lay some chicks ... N get their name across the silver screen n maybe earn some bucks ... Thats how it is ... Good ppl r also there ... Thy are there everywhere ... Bt the glamour world ... Is named that for some reason ... Think abt it ...

I agree... Katrina really sucks. Except flashing her body parts and smile, she can't do anything else.... Only because she had an affair with salman, people started noticing her and salman pulled some strings for her to get her the intial break. After that, due to her male co-star, luck and her body, her movies started to get noticed and here she is thinking of herself in the lines of kajol, rani, aishwarya etc. Where as the fact is she's no where near them in terms of acting. She can hardly act... All she can do is keep smiling for hours. Gosh, i'm really shocked to see that people ranks her as a top actress!!!

"log akshar oos shheedee ko bhool jate hai jis se woh upper chaad jaate hai".....In this industry even the best of talents have made huge compromises and struggled to the hilt before hitting success. Amitabh bachchan, madhuri dixit, the real big stars have also had to struggle. Katrina kaif did a wise thing. She caught hold of sallu bhai and got the best roles.. Now she has latched on to akshay kumar who is the latest superstar....And who said she's not talented....Itna sab karne ke liye toh you need "real talent"....With a huge english accent, got the answer ram :)

Guys... Chill... Its just a blog man. Dont fight. I mean its ok if katrina is talented then she will prove ram kamal wrong.. If she is not then ram kamal is right.. Simple. I mean we all know that 'chamchabazzi' se hi kaam hota hai... Baad mein talent walent.

Salman is helpful and will go out of the way to help people. Yes, he is the reason behind katrina's success and she should admit this in public that they are in love and salman recommended her to many producers/directors.
i think katrina might be having plans to dump samlan after using him enough. Otherwise she would have accepted her relationship by now.

let me be a bit more civil than you. I am the biggest salman fan around. And i don't think i said anything against him also. My problem is with this blogger mukherjee. Even the title of this piece " katrina who?" is so insulting. I don't believe that salman has always recommended her. May be once or twice but not always definitely. What we see on screen in katrina kaif and not an extention of salman khan. She has really worked hard and should be adequately recognized for the same. She has said it on tv also (during maine pyaar kyon kiya times) that she is grateful to salman for all the help he has extended to make sure her stay at bollywood is worth it. But thats it yaar. Don't take away credit from her. She has her identity and imo a very very talented girl.Give her some time and meaty roles and she'll far surpass everyone else. And i hate it when journos like mukherjee talk shit about them, like digging deep into what's happening in their personal lives! Leave them alone..Don't they entertain you enough on screen that u look for such cheap thrills!!
