Simi's short marital stint

Simi Garewal was an actress who grew up in Britain. She was too anglicised to become a mainstream heroine and always took up unconventional roles such as Mary in Mera Naam Joker and Kamini Verma in Subash Ghai's Karz. But she chose to marry into a fairly conservative family of Delhi. Her ex-husband Ravi Mohan came from an aristocratic family. Foreign cars and large mansions were a part of their lifestyle. According to sources Simi was unable to adjust and the marriage ended within a few weeks.
